I am better now. Thank you, Dr. Smalley and the Northgate Veterinary Clinic. I am still taking the medicine, but I get to eat turkey right afterward. Another day inside and it was beautiful outside. But the keeper couldn't stay home. She tells us she goes out to earn our food and medicine. We wonder what she could possibly do all day without us. But she goes to another place--her office--or to meetings, whatever they are. Sometimes the meetings happen here and we have to move to the den.
We send our condolences out to Marianne whose dog had cancer and died. Also we are happy that Benny the cat is getting a bit better after being hit by a car.
The keeper says the buzz is on about a new feature article in America about the changes to the words in the liturgical rituals. She says the author has taken a prophetic, sane, and pastoral approach to the issue. We are not sure what that all means, but we are glad to hear someone is pastoral.
The keeper lost another beloved former parishioner today. She had13 children. The keeper said she will help with the services. Her name was Pat and she had so much love and joy and enthusiasm. She walked everywhere and loved helping the young school children with their reading. Thank you, Pat.
It was another lovely sunset at the office tonight.
