Another stunningly clear day. As the keeper drove to the office this morning, she almost missed the green light because she was admiring the glistening gun metal surface of the lake. She looked for eagles, but didn't spy any. She decided not to look anymore because she would become a traffic hazard if she kept stopping an gawking.
We had to stay in again and watch all the action outside. No eagles. Lots of little picky birds and of course, the squirrels. Then we could see the raccoon prints on the deck.
She said that the evening sky over her office tonight was stunning as well. We all hope that the whole winter looks like this. We love the sun and waking up to it, and having it set in a bed of color.
