Hunthausen Auction and Dinner

She closed out August with the Annual Hunthausen Charity Dinner and Auction.
She ate salmon.  We ate salmon. She bid on more dinners, brought home wine and a beautiful photograph.
We think she will start September eating more dinners at home.

Dinner with Carlos and Lupita

The keeper and her pals returned to the sight of many wonderful dinners over the years, and chalked up another to their list of memorable evenings.

New Orleans dinner with Josephine and Robert

Robert cooked us a fabulous dinner after the blessing!

Leaving King County for the first time since Feb 2020

The keeper actually turned us over to a cat sitter and left us for her first trip away from home in 18 months. She and the Other Patty went up to sequim to bless Josephine and Robert’s new home. They visited Port Gamble, picked lavender, and ate VERY well.  SO did we!

Time with the old gang

Phil Boroughs has retired as President of Holy Cross College. he is in town for awhile.
This was the first of a few dinners this month.

Visiting with Margo the Aussidoodle

One of the many great things about her new part time  gig at Bryn Walker is meeting with all the customers’ dogs. So far she hasn’t met any cats who go clothes shopping.

What have we been up to this past August?

The month has sped by so fast. Our keeper was very busy and spent quite a few days and nights enjoying being with other people, rather than us.
Here she is celebrating with Peg as she approaches her 90th birthday!

Here I am, enjoying her chair in her absence.

She also took a tour of Sue ‘s beautiful garden and cottage.

and we all enjoyed the beautiful flowers everywhere!
