Sunday Caminos into Spring Arising

A Youth and Parent Protest

The keeper attended a meeting at HQ.
When she took a walk during lunch break, she ran into a
Well behaved crowd of students and parents
Protesting a recent resignation of teachers.

Feline Television

My brother Oliver just discovered tv.
A cat nature show came on and the keeper decided to let him watch it.
He paid rapt attention for a whole hour!
She even brought him a chair to sit on and watch.  He couldn’t sit still, though.

At a Funeral for an Archbishop

This is my favorite photo from today.
This woman spent the whole funeral filming bishops, priests, and her seat mates.

Bishops

During a week when we are bidding farewell to a retired bishop
Calvin, who works with our keeper, and who set sup the Back History displays there, put up this display of the first Black bishop,
James Healy, who just happened to go to Holy Cross College.

Hope springs

SO what if our garage roof is leaking, and so what if coronavirus may come to our neighborhood,
So what if our democracy is in peril?
The sun is out, the hellebores are as well!

Possible New Neighbors

The keeper noticed the new campers circled like covered wagons in the empty lot at Fircrest last Friday. They were too nice for safe parking for unhoused people.
There were also guards.
Well, we learned that these may house people exposed to Coronavirus.
Neighbors probably should learn about this sort of thing before the KOMO helicopters hover over us, or  from the evening  news.
You can imagine there is quite a hubbub about this, especially since there are 5 schools, including Fircrest within 1.5 miles.
This afternoon they had fenced it all off and added more guards.
The CDC offices parking lot has been packed all weekend.  Hmmm.

Visit from the Neighbors

Our neighbors adopted a new greyhound.
Her name is Aoife. Beauty or Radiance.
Soirse seems delighted to have a companion.
They poked their head through the fence while Lucy and I were playing .
We think they were more interested in our keeper than in us.

There Be Dragons!

St. James is a place for all!

Saturday Night Light and Seattle Rep’s True West

Snow Moon rising.

Sal y Limon is a find!

Welcome Sights!

Friends from PS came up to take in the deluge season.
They had just returned from Argentina.

Speaking of welcome sights, the arrival of daphne and hellebores made a
downpour at the cathedral exciting.

Candlemas, Groundhog, Super Bowl Sunday

The sun came out into the the chill day.
It gave a break to the hole in the roof of our garage.
She took a long walk after we all played outside and                                                                           picked up all of the scatted branches off the ground.
But she found the usual harbingers of spring out there.
