Scenes from a Sunday Camino

An 11K jaunt to Lyon Creek and Park and back.

Lucy Goes to Mass

I went to Mass this morning with the keeper.
It was very well done.
I purred through the whole thing.
We did sing a song that Jesus gave me a resting place,
And it made me glad to say it was the keeper’s lap.

Workday inside and outside

Working from home means sitting inside in front of a computer or two                                                          and talking, talking, talking.

Meanwhile, outside the mountain pushes through the clouds,

The ducks found a puddle,

The flowering quince is adorning the deck,

And the first tulip emerged.

Camino to Lyon Creek Park

Lots of people out walking, and a one was guarding social distancing.

Spring abundance and colors  are healing grace.

Sunday Morning Worship with St. James

Lucy was ready to join the online work shipping community, that is, until it started.

Welcome Spring! You Beautiful Mess!

Reminders of upstart beauty
In such an anxious time and...

Not ignoring the reality of death and loss.
What a mess! A beautiful, painful mess!

Oliver Meets Daniel Tiger

At least it’s on PBS!

Spring in the Neighborhood

Spring is there to keep us from panicking completely!

Tuesday at Home

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

We are both hooked on bird videos now. Meow!

Lucy hogged the IPad.

Monday’s Outings

QFC wasn’t very thrilling.
They had no chicken.

But the Caminata after was anything but empty. . . much more inspiring.

More working from home

We think she is here for good.
She is not sick.
She sits at the table with her computer and phone and talks and works and works.
She lets us watch bird shows on the IPad  and gives us catnip to distract us.
We have no idea why she doesn’t go to her office and do this.
We are also watching a great deal of news.
We are not working. We are addicted to YouTube and catnip these days.
