Camino evening

She took a long walk through the neighborhood.
We did  not accompany her.
Instead we stayed inside and watched two kittens take over our front and back yards.
When she got home we rushed outside
before she could catch us and made ourselves twice our size and
chased those kittens back to their home next door.
She did not have time to take a photo of us with our big hair.
We were impressive!
We are pretty sure they will return though.

CCS MTI Sisterhood Lunch

This afternoon the sisterhood had a final
lunch at Bluwater. They are showing off their new
Dead Sea mud and Mount Everest water  bracelets!
What a wonderful women they are!!!

Day Glo Sky

This is what she saw before she got home to feed us.

You Never Know Who You Might Run into at University House

Yes.  We ate late. She had dinner with MKD at University House.
There was also a garden party and a jazz concert which one of the residents had bought at an auction.
And who was playing the bass? Jeff from St. James!

We Are Ready for Summer!

After supervising her work in the backyard, we
insisted she set up the deck furniture as well.

Alls well that...

We grew a bit anxious.

Meanwhile ,she was watching
the sun set over Discovery Park.

But arrived home in time to catch the moon rising over our side of the lake.

Sabbath

While the keeper's friends were all at the cathedral,
she was out in the cathedral of fresh air.

The flowers at the LFP Market were overpowering,
but she knows we like to taste them, so
she is careful what she brings home.

Lyon  Creek  Preserve was full of wild irises.

Families fished on the banks of the lake and from Kenmore dock.

Saturday Without Plans

Today, a little cloudy.
We stayed in, but she went out and about.

She joined half of Seattle at Home Depot where they served hotdogs
to keep the crowds happy.

Later, there was a camino  on familiar paths
blanketed with white froth from trees,

and some beautiful floral faces peeking out
from neighbors' fences.

Arboretum Loop II

What the Keeper Did On Her Day Off

She headed to the Washington Park Arboretum and got lost
In all of the color andn light and shado and fragrance.

What We Did on Her Day Off

Pretty much what we do everyday!

On Lower Queen Anne

We ate very early again.
At least she doesn't make us wait until she gets home.
Tonight it was to the Rep preceded by The Sitting Room, which, but the way, is pretty good, she said.

The play was a wild combination of laughter, tears, family secrets,
im/emigration struggles, a superb script with superb actors.

Kitchen Reading Night

Tonight  the Cathedral Kitchen offered the fruits of their writing workshops               which took place  weekly this year.

Teddy and Dylan read for those who couldn't quite get up and read.

The writers wrote inspiring pieces about their lives,
about suffering, and hope.

Move Over, Gilroy!

Alley Cat Acres on 24th is growing wild cops of garlic!

Moon, Crane, Bone, Crow, Moon

A  not so unusual sight in Seattle.

A chicken bone in the Cathedral fountain.

Luna bella over our house.
