Sick Kitty

Lucy got sick on Monday afternoon.
When she doesn’t eat, we know she is sick.
She had a sleepover at the vet’s last night, but they don’t know what is causing her malaise.

She came home at noon full of antibiotics and fluids.
Oliver’s efforts at comfort have not been too appreciated, so far.

We are praying to Hildegarde and Gertrude.

Destruction and Fresh Beauty Tonight

Kellogg Middle School is biting the dust.
And the peonies and dogwoods are rising up!

Memorial Day Camino in the Mist

A Visit to Llandover Woods

Such a hidden green treasure at the tip of Seattle City limits!

Sunday Rituals

Lucy is a “Church Lady”!

She is the most active, conscious participant at the cottage.

The LFP Farmers’ market opened—a shell of its old self—but there is enough,                            especially the flower sellers from Eastside and Snohomish.

Arboretum Camino This Afternoon

She left us to go to the arboretum, which meant                                                                                         we couldn’t play outside any longer.
She went seeking rhodies, but many had already bloomed and gone.
But she was not disappointed.
She came home smelling of wisteria and mud.
