Gracious Hosts

Lucy entertained our guests tonight while the keeper watched the grill.
She is quite a conversationalist!

Vet Scare

She was acting sneaky.
Then the carriers came out.
We hid under the bed and under the shoes in the closet.
She dragged us by the feet and tossed us into out cages and into the car.
We howled and caterwahled.
We got to the vet.
It seems we had an appointment that never made it on to the computer list.
The keeper was not happy.
We kept our mouths shut as we were carted back home.
Not having opposable thumbs, we couldn’t have texted them to cancel.
She let us go outside.

While We Stayed Home

She went next door.
The ever creative  neighbors were making tapas with homemade wine and chorizo
and the dogs were invited. No cats, though.
That greyhound who is fixated on our keeper tried to beg for food.

Why the Royal Felines Ate Dinner Very Late

She left us two for a dinner, final concert at Benaroya as a
 guest of her traveling companion.
What a night, Boy Choir, Chorale, Wagner, Debussy, Strauss,

Wine tasting, chocolate, and a conductor who will be missed!

The night ended where it began—First Hill.
