Monday at Home and not in the Garden

The day was overcast, and not really cold. The flowers were hoping that the keeper would plant them, but she chose not to until tomorrow. The very wonderful neighbor, Tyler, came over to mow the lawn and add some fertilizer to it. It looks so rich now. And the smell of cut grass takes the keeper back to summer in her long ago childhood and at her high school where the smell of newly mown grass would waft through the open windows all spring. We watched The Diary of Anne Frank last eve on PBS and liked it, although the cat did run away.
