This morning we all got up very early because the keeper needed to be at SU early for an all day class. As she was driving to the freeway she spied the sun rising over the Lake and forgot about the freeway and drove to the highest point in Sheridan Heights to behold this incredible dawn. It could not be missed. Later this afternoon she learned from a friend that a very wonderful woman who had been a loving spiritual guide had died this morning about an hour before the keeper found the dawn. So, tonight we give thanks for dear Mary, whose life broke forth like the dawn over so many for so long. Godspeed, and pray for us, you bright and gentle sage!
