A Not So Bleak End of Christmastide

The keeper stayed home, mostly, with us today.  She had to work on somethings called annulments. She finds it to be very sad work as she reads and translates stories of love gone sour.

So, she took a walk around lunchtime all the way down to the water and found the sun, the frosted grasses, the swollen creeks all quite consoling. Indeed, GMH is right, " for all this, nature is never spent;"

"There lives the dearest freshness deep down things;"
