New Year's Kindness

We have heard that deaths come in threes.  We are not talking about people dying, although it also seems to be the case as well. Machines also die in threes.  Last week, after experiencing long and fruitful lives, our stove, our car, and this week, the cell phone died. The keeper had to postpone her walk until she purchased her new phone.  She found the salesperson incredibly helpful assisting her find the appropriate phone for her needs. Additionally, a wonderfully helpful customer came in who helped with the selection.  Of course, they all became engaged in conversation about life and work.
When the keeper went to pay for the phone accessories, she found that the woman had paid for $50 worth of them!  She has always heard about people doing this, and has done it, but never ever expected that this would happen to her.  A sign of good hope!

Finally, the keeper took the new phone on her walk through the magnificent afternoon.
