The keeper awoke even later this morning, we hear. While there is no sun in sight, she did encounter a most welcome surprise...Bambi napping in the yard. Then she opened the canal shades and two lovely sets of eyes with black noses greeted her.
Yes, we fear her affections are shifting from us to those cloven hoofed friends who are much quieter and less demanding than we are.
I'm sure she will never forget you, Lady A and Lord C. The deer are very pretty but so un-cuddly, except to each other.
