Equine Naps

Having had a lovely time with the deer, the keeper cycled down to the far end of the beach to commune with the horses from the more reputable barn, Chenois Creek.  These horses are well taken care of and treated with respect, she says.  Today, they were taking advantage of the warm sand, the hazy, lazy cloudy day, and were napping.  One had its nose planted firmly in the sand and was snoring noisily away.

  1. These horses look a lot more relaxed than the other ones. Poor things.

  2. Amazing, isn't it? No mean ladies yanking at them and no verbal abuse! Just lots of admirers and a wrangler who has worked with them for years. If only the others were so fortunate.
