The keeper spent most of the morning on the deck in contemplation and soaking up sun. She was fascinated by the continuous sound of splashing in the reeds below, and later, a lot of chattering and sloshing in the shallow water under the dock. Then there was scratching under the deck. Finally, some very curious little faces peered over the deck. She was not sure if they were fascinated by her or the beautiful music she was playing. Most likely, it was the music.
I think baby raccoons may be even cuter than baby deer.
ReplyDeletePlease don't let her get any ideas about bringing them home with her. We want her to ourselves. Aren't we cuter than any of these wild beasts? We sure hope so. We can kind of sense that she might be coming back to us tomorrow.the petsitter is cleaning.
