It's hard to have a sabbath from a sabbath. But we did! No servile work here! I made sure the keeper spent most of the day in the sun and I kept her company as she read The Bell and the River about her hero Mother Joseph. She read it once a very long time ago, but this time she can't put it down.
We finally went in late afternoon when the wind picked up and sent the clouds back. Then we read about Johns Hopkins doctors in the Amazon. What an exciting life we lead from our chairs!
