I have been here before. This is Cecil's first visit. He was a very good traveller and slept most of the way. So did I. But she gave us both some kind of sleeping potion for the 2 and 1/2 hour trip. We both know that the greyhounds have been here, but we will make sure they know we were here too. The keeper showed us Kittyrood, where HRH Virginia is buried. We hear she was a very finicky cat, but had a full funeral rite many years ago--- a wake in Seattle, followed by a funeral and burial here.
So tonight we are just taking it all in, the new carpet, tile, and more. We will get used to it. But it's better than a pet sitter and an empty house.
