We went out for a walk sporting our harnesses. Only around the yard, though. Lots of wild animal smells out here. Then the thunder and lightning came with pellets of rain that hammered the canal and our skylights. We all sought safe shelter indoors. But then our keeper decided to head to the beach. We chose to watch the geese play in the downpour from our window perches. Talk about birdbrains! By the time the keeper got to the jetty, the rains had stopped, but the clouds still threatened. We could tell it had an intense beauty of its own.
