The combination to the bike lock was given up for good. Yesterday on her walk into town she stopped in at the Moped/Bike Rental Place on the corner of Ocean Shores Blvd. and asked them if they could break the lock if she drove the bike in. They showed her the big chain breaking tools, and said, "Sure!"
When she drove up this morning they were waiting for her. She was surprised when she pulled up and as she was getting ready to repeat her request, the young man told the older one, "The lady who wants you to cut her lock off is here!" Perhaps this is an unusual request??? This is a slow season! It took two big tools, but they cut through, they threw away the lock, filled up the tires, and wouldn't take any kind of payment. So here's to the nicest bike people on the beach!!!
