It became sunny today. The keeper hurried home to us before the sunset so she could take in the novelty of the sun, even as it fled to its rest. She brought back photos of the purple pink clouds of heaven. We got to stay out while she walked, but we didn't venture far. We tried to hide from all the crows who were having a raucous convocation in the neighbor's bare maple tree.
