Lumenaria

You should have been at our house today!  The keeper got up early on her day off because she wanted to make sure that those Christmas lights got up before it started raining again! It worked, except she had to throw out a few strands and so by the time she got to the store for more, it was too late to finish the front door, the Kittyrood wisteria and the apple tree.  But we are lit up! And it looked pretty cool in the foggy darkness tonight even in its unfinished state.  We are very happy that the keeper spent hours outside today on the lights and even raking leaves.  Then she went to the gym. She needed to work off a lot of emotional stress from the weekend, we think. Now she is quietly writing poems for Christmas. We are grateful she is home.  We hear the rest of the week will be a blur.
