Tiles

The keeper spent most of her days off reading about disjunctions. But she did take a break to think about more house improvements. We understand that there will be new floors in the bathroom and the kitchen one of these days.  The biggest part of the work seems to be the selection of the materials. We were hoping for a hexagonal tiny porcelain tile for the bathroom, which she found at a European tile store and a gray/green ceramic tile for the kitchen, also from those Europeans. We were not as impressed with the options from Home Depot (above). Prices are somewhat the same, but we hear she likes the quality and service of the smaller group.  But mostly, we are interested in how food will taste off of the kitchen tile, and how cool the bathroom tile will feel  when we are hot, as we were today.
