We understand that this plant is really called a Butterfly Bush. However, she calls them summer lilacs. So we indulge her this naming. She gets all nostalgic about childhood the minute she smells them and wants to bring them in the house. Alice starts sneezing when they come in, though. So, they stay out and the keeper passes them sighing and smiling. She is so easily pleased sometimes.
