Reading Week Begins

This afternoon we began observing Reading Week. It is not a liturgical season, but the keeper treats it like one.  She hasn't observed it since she left parish ministry, but this year she decided that it was time once more to read theology for a week. So many books, so many journals, so few days. Latino/Hispanic theology, ecclesiology, leadership theory and  some radical feminist papers. But she is earnest. Of course, she has also calendared a few distractions as well.
