Today we spent the morning and afternoon inside while the keeper did her church thing all over the Eastside. But, she learned that the shower she was planning on attending this afternoon had occurred yesterday afternoon! Oops. So she came home early and because she had strained her back and ankle with too much fast walking this week, she spent time with us in the back yard. We finally received what we had been hoping for---a shearing with the Furminator! We were relieved of much fur, enough to spin into a small sweater's worth of cat yarn. So we gave the pile to the birds for their nests. We are serious recyclers here.
