The keeper carries me out to the deck in my basket. Then I sit and smell things for a long time. She reads the paper. Then I get up and explore. She chases behind me. I found the Beacon Pest Control man before she did. He was eating his lunch in our yard before he started to spray. He and the keeper talked Grays Harbor politics. He is on the City Council in Aberdeen. There are many wild animal smells around here. The fish were unusually active today, and we could see their fins on the surface from the dock. The keeper wouldn't let me go in after them. It's OK because we grilled Alaska King Salmon tonight.
