Mostly Cloudy, Chance of Fog
The fog is settling in on mammoth lion feet. The keeper tells me that this feels like later in the fall. Not one ray of sunshine today other than that which arrived filtered through the grey gauze of cloud cover. No wind. So the little flies are thick on the canal. This means that we have our own school of fish at the dock and the jump and bare their fins all day long. There are so many, you could reach out and catch them. But we don't. I am told we are pro-fish life. That is, unless it is a king salmon, which we are eating for the next few days.
