The Horses from Chenois Creek
While the tow trucks were towing and the police were ticketing, the keeper went to visit the horses. She is so fond of them, and feels a bit sorry for the horses from Chenois Creek who have to lug people up and down the beach. But she had a nice visit with Tom, who told her about a lot of the horses, who actually like getting out. He is standing with a thoroughbred who never liked racing. She was too gentle, he said, and she enjoys children and plodding up and down the beach. She looked disappointed when she wasn't chosen to go out with a group. Then he introduced the keeper to his two Belgians --beautiful draft horses--which he added to his barn when he noticed that obese people wanted to ride as well. They didn't go out on the ride either. But didn't seem as bothered by not being chosen. The keeper will visit these friend every day.
