Feast of Corpus Christi

Today the keeper left us early enough for the cathedral.  Today is the Feast of Corpus Christi, and they have a big procession following the liturgy. The liturgy was a feast of all ministries, choirs, bagpipers, and the homily featured one of the keeper's favorite stories about Mordecai and the Rabbi.  And the homily itself was worth a long reflective walk later in the evening.  In fact,  she found it quite profound.  And that is saying a lot. Alice remembers when the keeper had to write them every other week. Even though they usually turned out very well, Alice tells stories of some major pacing and chewing of pens while they were being born. The keeper reported two good homilies this weekend.  She heard the other one in Bellevue this afternoon.
