I stopped by St. Mark's Cathedral Gift Shop
and learned that they are doing major renovations.
The very old concrete exterior was supposed to be covered in stone,
but wasn't.
Now, many decades later, this is going to happen. Also they are replacing windows.
The renovations started Easter Monday and are supposed to end
right before Christmas.
Meanwhile, life goes on as usual there.
