Today the Cathedral celebrated first Communion with about 30 children.
When I made my Communion 61 years ago we had double that number.
I wonder if the Mass took any longer, but in those days, we just al knelt at the
communion rail and the priest moved quickly and there was no wine.
So maybe it went a little bit longer because we sang a post-communion song.
I thik I looked pretty pious in the front row center!
