We did not celebrate the Battle of Puebla yesterday at the cottage, but others all around us did. she is not sure if many of the celebrants actually knew that they weren't really celebrating Mexican independence day but an impossible, unthinkable victory of the Mexican troops against the French.
The keeper and friends visited the site last summer.
But on this Cinco de Mayo the keeper attended a meeting to organize the social mission of the church---which actually could be one of those impossible quests!
Here, Vince got into the spirit of the mission.
