They crossed the Seine to visit Notre Dame and got caught up in the crowds pushing over bridges packed with padlocks professing love, buskers, lines for fine ice cream, and lines into the great church where they stayed for vespers and a very long Mass with a bishop celebrating the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Paris.
