They closed out their Louvre time with a visit to the apartments of Napoleon III. It was as gilded and ornate as all the ages past. They imagined sharing a dinner with 40 some others, not counting cooking and serving staff.it was little fancier than what they could imagine on a regular basis.
Ahhhh, thanks for the pictures! I didn't get a chance to see this apt. when I was at the Louvre. AND I could get used to this on a regular basis! just say'in.
