Comida Specialties


That's Phil, eating fried Maguey worms!


Here are the worms with guacamole. They all tried them.  One diner ate quite a few.


Then, there were chiles en nogada--a chile stuffed with fruits, nuts and raisins, covered with a cream sauce of walnuts, almonds,  and sprinkled with pomegranate seeds. This is the time of year when this dish is served.  The colors are of the Mexican flag.


Finally, there was Mexican cappucino, and special poblano cookies.
They waddled back to the van and eventually went for a walk.
