The keeper left me this morning and headed to UW to a conference on Latino Leadership. She told me when she returned that it was one of the best events she has attended in terms of organization, motivation and effective networking. Now I am not sure what all of that means but I know when she is happy, I am well treated. She also mentioned that she found Judge Gonzalez and his views on bias and the need to change the imagination of children very compelling. I am not sure what that means either. But, she was very pleased, and of course made lots of new friends.
