So, today the Keeper was out begging for Catholic Community Services. At St. B's the Spanish Mass had already moved into the Liturgy of the Word when the air vents started emitting a strange noise and suddenly all the fire alarms went off. Hundreds of people fled the church and waited for the fire department, and waited, and waited in the cold. When the Bomberos arrived they found broken water mains and water pouring through the ceiling into the nave. After a half hour the community still wanted to celebate Mass, and were willing to do it outside. However, wiser voices prevailed. They headed to the gym.
