Our friend W came to dinner. We like him a lot. He showed up sporting his Molokai Hawaiian shirt given to him by the same people who want to fly him to Molokai to see Fr. Damian's work. The shirt is a stained glass window on cloth. The keeper has offered to accompany him, we hear. he is stalling...not because of the company, we hope. But we do know she wants to ride a mule from the airport to the leper colony. We are not sure he's too keen on that. We thinks she's nuts. She has acrophobia.. It's all cliffs and high places. It was a good dinner and they shared their grilled chicken with us.
