Gracious Abundancia

She came home and told us it indeed had been a very long day. We tried to look like we cared and dashed outside. Eventually she came out and told us she was going on at least a five mile Camino walk and would be home by our dinnertime. About an hour into our luxurious napping, she came striding back in, only having put in 3.5 miles, but having jogged all the way back.  She pulled out her car keys, jumped in the car and was gone. There was little we could do but wait. Not long after she returned with the back of the car stuffed with three new things. "Free stuff!" she said.  It was good stuff too. We could tell...two rattan chairs for our new deck and a hand thrown outdoor planting  pot. Classy. We have learned it is always wise to check out the Free Stuff signs in LFP, and especially the closer you get to the water, the better the treasure. So, she barely made her Camino goal this week, but we scored some cool new stuff. We suggested to her (very gently, of course) that this didn't really fit in with her Camino goal of growing in detachment. She laughed and said it was pure grace, which cannot be ignored. And sometimes detachment leads to gracious abundance.
