Once she finally came home from the office today, Alice and I went and took up our perches in the yard. The keeper put on her walking gear and headed down to the lake. As she passed Republic of Peru Boulevard she said that she was overcome by the sight of magnolias in bloom. She hurried back to meet up with our contractor, Marylu, who will be rebuilding our deck and adding a firepit. We will have a great time with her, we think.
