Easter II in the Snoqualmie Valley

The rain poured and obliterated visibility on 405 this morning, but the keeper arrived damply at Carnation where she found the worship space transformed with Easter. Candles, huge paper cut banners with angels at the tomb in the sanctuary, flowers, golden banners flying across the ceiling rafters like acrobats, bells for everyone to ring at the Gloria, which the children then rang all through Mass, and a very lively, lovely spirit. She said she forgot about the rain outside once she entered this golden bower.
