A day to hang out together. She planned her classes for next week.
We did our best to distract her. It worked.
Then she left us for a long walk where she found the mountain
looming over the lake and the trees.
Her work partner Mike is climbing that mountain this weekend.
Keep him safe, O God.
We ended up celebrating tonight on the deck. Oliver did his best to behave and stay on the deck.
We don't think we did too well because within 30 minutes we were back inside!
She stayed out reading much later.
