cottage painting

The keeper left us in the care of the house painter,
a nice enough guy with lots of energy and a power sprayer which he used quite viciously.
He teaches junior high and when he gets bored with them he switches back to first grade.
We overheard him report to the keeper that certain sides are pristine pure, after 18-20 years of wear.
However, the  south side shed most of its remaining paint when the pressure washing began.
We hear he will be here for a week.  Not only the painter, but Jesus showed up and started tearing down the backyard fence. This means Oliver can not sneak out through holes in the fence any longer.
It's a construction zone here.
We won't venture out till it's over.
