It has been 10 days since our friend Ward
died, and there has been no time for blogging or anything else but funeral planning and work.
But on Monday morning, June 5th, he took a last labored breath and headed toward Lux Aeterna.
It is so strange that when someone dies the rest of the world keeps on spinning as if nothing unusual happened, while those who lost the loved one find it almost insulting that the clocks and routines
at the wonderful nursing center didn't stop.
But for the rest of the day there was no stopping for us to let it all sink in:
there were arrangements to make, people to call, decisions, details, cleaning our a room.
Later that day I finally went walking and the flowers
and la luna did not disappoint with their beautiful light.
