Productive Afternoon After a Haywire Morning

This morning all chaos seems to ensue. The keeper worked at home till she had to leave for Bellevue.  We stayed out till she dragged us in. She had moved her car to the front of the house earlier in the driveway just in case the builder might show up. We had no sooner waved goodbye when she came back in storming. It seems she had set off some locking device which prevented the car from doing anything. She called her mechanic, who gave advice. It didn't work. She called Toyota, who gave the same advice. We were not surprised to hear that it didn't work either. She called AAA, and by this time both of us had snuck outside again. Much later the AAA guy came, hopped in, jiggled the steering wheel and gave it a pop, and everything came back to life. It took 10 seconds. The AAA Guy looked at her with pity and drove away.  She brought us back in and started the day all over, a few hours behind schedule. But the last meeting in Bothell had iced ginger tea, so she was happy. She is easily pleased sometimes.
