Inching Toward Issaquah

The keeper left us with food and headed off to Issaquah for a Mass in Spanish. She thought 90 minutes would be enough. She needed 120 today.  Everyone seemed to be out driving.  She decided the slower route would be faster and she was right! And it was more beautiful too.  She caught a glimpse of Rainier  while stuck on the University Bridge and caught the excitement of all the boaters and rowers below preparing for Opening Day.

Then she thought to catch I-90 from Rainier Avenue. It was worth every minute---to see Mt. Rainier growing larger at each stoplight.

She told us that she had a lovely time in Issaquah and then drove west into the most beautiful of sunsets.
