In November we watch the keeper take time to place the pictures of dead loved ones in the pockets of the bedroom curtain. There are photos of beloved parishioners, friends, and family hanging in this thin veil. Some people think this is morbid, but we find it comforting, surrounded by such a cloud of witnesses. Today the keeper told us that she is summoning all of their prayers as well for tomorrow's election.
