Worcester
As evening fell quietly upon Worcester and the College of the Holy Cross, family and friends were arriving on campus from all over the US, Canada, Scotland to celebrate the new President. They greeted each other warmly, were greeted warmly by the President, and feted with cocktails and very fine food. It was clear no roast or tributes would take place. When the Jesuit assisting the President went to the mike to mention that a Lexus left its lights on, a wave of momentary panic flashed across Fr. President's face, but he had no reason to worry. This crowd was on its best behavior.
