The keeper has a friend at her office who is fostering a lovely senior kitty with special needs for the past five months. But her friend is hoping that Kokomo could find a forever home and be an only cat.
The friend says, "Kokomo is a sweet girl with some unique challenges, and is in need of a permanent home with someone who can give her all the vet care she needs and all the love she deserves. Kokomo has some physical issues with her back legs and back. She is able to walk around, but her back legs don’t work quite right and her back/hind end is sensitive. She isn’t able to jump up, and jumping down results mostly in a “splat” as opposed to a landing. She has no trouble eating or drinking and uses her litter box just fine."
