Today the weather took a turn toward winter. The wind was biting, and we all shivered. The heat came on inside. But the flowers on the front porch don't seem to mind. The fire lilies and the hollyhocks keep blooming and so do the geraniums. She brought home pumpkins yesterday, and we think we will be putting them on the front porch with the hollyhocks.
